Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. The Rotaract Téka Club this year as well has visited the children of the Saint Elisabeth Foundation at Christmas, and has brought along lots of surprises.   >>>

Christmas Postcards

On the 15th of november twenty-two children were waiting impatiently for us to arrive at the Oasis Foundation. Coloured papers, scissors, glue, coloured pencils were used by the children of the Saint Elisabeth Foundation in creating Christmas postcards. In aproximatly 2 hours the children have made surprisingly creative postcards.   >>>

SPID II Training

During the last weekend of February, on 23-24, we’ve taken part in the SPID II training course, which was the follow-up to last year’s SPID I. We consider it important to ensure the continued development of our members, of the group, and we would like to organize at least one course per year in the future.   >>>

Félsziget Festival 2007 - Team Challenge

In 2007 we prepared a different program for the PenInsula. We organized a team contest called ”Rotaract Team Challenge”, which inspired teamwork and volunteering among the groups taking part. In addition, we made a gigantic Rotaract Téka banner, on which we sold advertisement slots, thereby collecting the necessary funds for the orphanage, to help them prepare for the beginning of the school year.   >>>

Teambuilding with Outward Bound

March 2006

        In 24-26 March 2006, the members of the Rotaract Club Teka Targu-Mures have participated in a teambuilding training organized in Sovata by Outward Bound Romania.        Since its inception a year ago, the youth branch of the Rotary Club Teka Targu-Mures, has already delivered several successful projects, including two environmental ones: the cleaning of the Mures riverside and recycling at the Felsziget Festival.   >>>
